PG Tips pledges to remove all plastic from their Teabags

We are a nation of tea drinkers but did you know some teabags currently contain polypropylene to seal them? This may sound unappealing but there is no evidence to suggest this contaminates the tea in any way, even in boiling water. PG Tips have pledged to join co-op own brand and several other teabag producers in removing this plastic from their product. This change will ensure that people don't accidentally attempt to compost plastic as many people compost teabags unknowingly.
